Short-term stays at Cass Lake

3 posts in this topic

We've stayed at resorts on Cass Lake when I've had a week of vacation but am looking for places to stay when I only have a long weekend. Can any of you recommend any motels in the area that are good (or resorts that rent nightly) and what boat ramp do you use?

Try Break on the Lake. Talk to Steve... I think he'll rent nightly.

Good Luck!

I'm staying over at Anglers Beach for 4 days/3 nights. Apparently, they allow for single nights as well.

The lakes took a beating and I was not out on Sunday to see the damage. Saturday I saw the first 4 to 5 inches turn soft. Be careful and check the ice conditions

Sometimes you need em that size.      You guys did push me over the edge so I had to go out Sunday afternoon.  Thanks for that.

I was going to try to go tomorrow (walking out in metro) despite the rain which appears to be light and I have a portable. Are you concerned about the ice conditions deteriorating throughout the day?  Or just for the rest of the week?
