Im heading out Fri afternoon, anyone have any suggestions for some nice walleyes!!

No! Walleye's have been far and few as of late (from fishing buddies). I would hit deeper pools on Mississippi North, you always have a better chance of a walleye on river, plus up here you can keep them too. They taste great.

I have heard of some action on ( very small) on blue and green. but not much at all. I would head to Mille Lacs before I would stop at any lakes up here.

      I have caught them on Vermilion when the mayflies are hatching in the evening by using a fly rod with small poppers or may fly type dry flies. Just cast to the surfacing fish. A spinning rod with an Adjusta Float with poppers or flies may work even better. Cliff

      I have also wondered why there are no Sauger in Vermilion. I have never caught one there or heard of one being caught by anyone else. Cliff

      They eat little bitty stuff.   But them and whitefish should be catchable in summer.  They are eating after all.
