I have never fished these bodies of water but was wondering if there is a descent fishable population of bass in these lakes either LM's or smallies?

I guess I found out the answer to my question on an earlier thread and checking the dnr site. Sounds like a quality fishery for a variety of species including bass.

Anyone have any thoughts of what might be working well out there right now?

Hey Rigger, There was a Extream Bass tourney out there July 7th. 6 fish for 18+ lbs. You can google there site for info. Several bass over 4lbs. Most of the guy's I talked tried deep in the morning and docks in the afternoon. From the looks of there was lots of running and gunning.

The water temp is 82 degrees and we haven't picked much off the docks lately. The lake looks like pea soup now.

Good Luck,

Ferny

Good luck.

In the summer and fall the night bite is excellent on Cass for eyes.  I'm not much help come winter time though.  With the clearer water due to zebra mussels, I would bet the night bite would be good.

When I discover it I will let you know. I have not figured it out yet.

Depends on your layout. If the walls can be easily removed inside that is usually the better option. If too much stuff is in the way...then yep...do as Cliff suggests.

Is there a special dance or ritual I can do in an attempt at pleasing said fish gods? Cuz my moves and dance skills just are not up to par this year! Lol.
