Bald Eagle and Forest for crappies

2 posts in this topic

I'm hitting both of these lakes over the weekend. I have never fished either. I was wondering if anyone could give me a tip on where to catch some crappies on both of these lakes. It would be greatly appreciated.

Don't know about Baldie right now but the crappies are suspended and a touch deeper on forest. You can find some more active fish on the shallow weedlines but they are smaller and sunfish and rockbass will drive you nuts. Look to the 15' range and out over the deeper basin areas for fish suspended. Hope this helps!
