Fish Lake between Urbank and Parkers Prairie

5 posts in this topic

Does anyone have any info on Fish lake by Parkers Prairie? Have seen on the DNR web page that it's stocked with eyes, but was wondering if anyone has fished it. If anyone could give me a few ideas on what they've used and what methods worked best for them I would appreciate it. Planning on trying it this weekend. Thanks in advance. grin.gif

Gets pretty thick with weeds. I have not been there this year, but I hear you can get some smaller ones with lindy rigs and leeches.

Good Luck

Thanks for the info, hoping to get some in the 15-17 inch range to do a fish fry. Having a small get together for Millerville days. laugh.gifgrin.gif

Woodland, where are you located on the lake? My wife and kids usually spend a week out on Miltona in July, If I find you I'll have to stop in and say hello.

Hey Alex1,

Woodland is on the East Side of Miltona, about 1/2 mile north of the golf course.

Always welcome to stop by!

Good Luck!

Steve

Went up north today with @eyeguy 54 and we found plenty of ice if the access would have been better we would have driven out. We fished hard as both of us have similar fishing styles. We jump hole to hole picking off the aggressive fish with plastics. The wind did not do us any favors but we still caught a good number of fish. If eyeguy took photos maybe he will post em. Thank you eyeguy for the call I wanted to get out fishing today.

Went to a small lake up around Mille lacs lake and found 20-28 inches of ice. The access looked like some busted it up, so eyeguy and I walked out. We caught bluegills and crappies on plastics. It was windy and cold but we got a few nice ones.
