Was out alot the last 3 days on the pond and man did we get fish.Me and a buddy put in alot of time fishing mud, sand, rocks and in nowhere land and the hot bite was going for us anyways.Caught fish on 7ft snells red hook 1oz three ways. Also fishing #5 firetigers and perch rapalas on 3 way rigs in the 2oz range.Bobber fishing was great in 20ft water of the rocks. All in all between the 2 of us we caught well over a hundred walleyes sizes from 6in-30inchs what a great time we had.Leeches crawlers and rap fishing it was awesome. The best part of it all is i get up there maybe 3 times in the summer only because i live aways away and have great fishing out my back door.Oh by the way we only caught 12 we could keep all from 16-19 inches. Awesome fishing you have and in my eyes you will for some time if all follow the rules. cool.gif

X2 for the big minnow net.  I got mine at Wally world or FF for $5.  Bend the wire frame to fit.

You posted this on Friday so I don't know if by "next Saturday" you meant the 14th or this coming Saturday the 21st.    Osakis might be worth a look. Perhaps the Alex chain (Victoria, Geneva, LeHomme Dieu, Carlos, Darling.

I agree. Completely careless! My uncle could have died...  It broke though he said the ice was to the hood of the truck. He crawled out the window... The window was level to the ice.... He stood up turned around and he said "All I could see was the cab. I watched it for about ten seconds and then it sank." He is extremely lucky to be alive. He still likes ice fishing but he walks on now.

Fished 2 1/2 weeks solid for NP, and panfish.  Found lots of bites on larger suckers, but almost all were dropped.  Gold and silver shiners were preferred by all sizes.  Usually get the bigger ones on 4-8 suckers.

I can't tell if it has a second dorsal fin or not based on those pictures, it could be laid down onto the back. But from the looks of it to me, I think its a Brook Silverside. We sample these in central MN streams and the Mississippi River. If you were in Wright County, definitely within its known range. Just a thought based on the picture
