Fished out in front of the south boat landing by the hospital Memorial Day weekend. Mostly small saugers and sheepies. Hit LaCapolis last Sat and got small walleyes, saugers, a northern and tons of sheepies. My buddy caught some real nice bass (both large & smallmouth) on leeches. The sheepies liked minnows & crawlers. The walleyes liked a fuzzy grub tipped with a fathead. Real light bites, only felt light pressure on the line, no strike.

Fish are biting all over the lake, and many different presentations are working right now, i.e. crankin', rigging, or jigging. Find a breakline in 10 - 13 FOW, or get on some sand. It's all good!

Had a good day with some good friends today.  Was nice to have a MANY fish day for a change this season.  The crappies weren't the biggest but we sorted through for a decent fry.  The pikers were a nice addition for the last weekend of the season.  We fished from 8 to 22 feet with a vast mix of presentations.   The oddest thing was the start to the day when this button buck slammed into the deck railing and broke its neck while we were getting ready to go out.  We called in for the permit and enjoyed some fresh blackstrap with the fresh fish for dinner.

That sucks when you lose gear. Tom way to go trying to find the owner of  the lures.
