Has anyone been out fishing Lake Bronson lately? I think I'm gonna try it this weekend just for something different.
I will probably pitch jigs back in the river area or troll Crankbaits along the breaks and shoreline in the lake and back in the river. Anyone have any approaches that might be "better" for Lake Bronson? I don't fish it much in the summer, so it's gonna be a "see what happens" approach.
If you have any input, please post...Thanks.

Last year me and my boy had pretty good luck just off of cemetary point....it always seems like a hotspot come fall.

Thanks, I'm sure I'll troll past there sometime through out the day. I just don't know how deep the eyes prefer to be this time of the year on Lake Bronson, or if it even matters. If I can get an idea of depth, preferred structure, weed edges or out away from shore, bottom type, favorite food source, etc...I will find them on my own. I don't need any specific spots...Half the fun is finding them, I was just hoping to get a bit of a jump.
I'm gonna be up there tomorrow. I'll post how I do after I get back.

Very slow on Bronson on Saturday. Caught a 2 lb northern off cemetary point, but that was it for the day. Also spotted a couple northern following my daredevil on 3 consecutive casts on the river by the walk-over bridge. Couldn't get 'em to bite though. Any Bronson tips would be appreciated. Nobody else was on the lake on what seemed like a perfect day. The locals must know it's not worth it.

I think it's a lake that pays off from time to time, but generally it's a lake that "might" produce a couple of walleye or maybe a limit. However, if your after numbers or a close to guaranteed limit, it's not a good lake in my opinion.
Tips, sorry I don't really have any except to keep trying different things, and eventually you will probably start catching something?

Bronson has 5-7 inches of great ice on it right now...i was out today in portable with a friend and fished most parts of the lake but managed to keep nothing...the water seems real dirty and murky..hopefully that will turn around here real soon...
