Thanks guys! Unfortunately I can't take credit for the great shape its in but I can make sure it stays that way if not improve upon it. My grandfather bought it brand new in 1960 and it was the first boat I ever fished in.

a boat that floats is nice so as long as she floats use it. its nice to see some old boats around I had an early sixties runabout fop a while with a 65hp it ran in the high 20's that motor sure ran some r's 6500 if I remember right

Nice boat. Gotta love the old stuff. Go through the motor to make shure its in top shape. Replacing the impeller as said before is good insurance, make shure the coils are in good shape. Best part is parts are plentiful for that motor. Have fun.

My neighbor has an almost identical motor on his mid '70's Lund Mr Pike. Runs like a champ! Have any pics of the Mr. Pike? Just curious as to what they looked like back then. I have an 01' 17 Mr. Pike.
