Just wondering if anyone has had any success fishing cats in front of the sartell dam? I'm fairly new to catfishing but am completely hooked. I really only have one spot north of the Sartell dam that I am fishing right now and it's been really slow there this year. Any good spots are welcome.
P.S. I don't have a boat so only shore fishing spots please.

Thanks Borch. I'll be sure to give those spots a try. I've never caught a flat head before. Will I find any of those at those spots? I've only caught channels with my biggest being a little over 9 lbs, but I would love to find some of those real big flat heads.

No the bait were for a trip down to the Minnesota. You will find flats in the St Croix, Mississippi SE of the Twin Cities and the Minnesota fron about Granite Falls till it dumps into the Mississippi. So if you looking for the flats you're about an hour drive away from fantastic fishing. Just channels in these parts.
