December 28, 2011Looks worse than what I saw on Monday. The main landing on the south end of the lake was fine. If you go off toward the dam area it seemed there was more ice. As I started along to the right off the main landing the ice was significantly thinner (around 3" in spots). Careful out there!

Its definitely a sad sight to see all of those dead fish like that. I know they are just carp but they must do something good in the ecosystem like eating all of the green algae floating in the water. I hope the walleyes don't catch this disease. On a side note, has anyone been having any luck on

February 10, 2011Was out today caught a lot of little perch only one good size one. Northerns were biting early ice, but I haven't caught any for awhile. Snow wasnt that bad by the landing, but getting around any where else might be challenging.
