Hit Washington off of 3rd point tonight from about 3-9. Some small sunnies right away in about 20' of water and fished it about a foot off the bottom. Pretty slow night, but a bit of good news came through at about 7. Fired up the Vex to see what's going on and saw abit of action at the 15' range

Hit the main lake Sunday night just off the weedline, any gold or perch pattern spoon tipped with euros or minnow heads brought in fish. Only one over 13" rest were all young fish.

The Cedar also has some great smallmouth in it. Probably pretty tough with the high water after the storms but we used to kill them by wading up and down the river tossing small spinners(#1, #2) and little cranks. Been a long time....

I haven't heard about anything happening on either lake at this point. The town got hit by a wind surge last week and I spent part of the day cleaning up downed trees etc. No word on anything biting that would make it worth a trip. If you want to fish Madison from shore,try the buckmaster bridge

Was out there on Saturday and did well. Started in 30FOW and all 2 inch crappies. Moved over a little into 25FOW and found stacks of nice eater bluegills and crappies. Was a lot of fun and lots of fish caught. All but 10 got to swim away.

Look for a lot of small Bullheads (catfish bait). If there is rain run off when your at the damm there should be a lot of Carp in the area. I have seen some nice Gills along the edge of the duck weed across the road from the Mill. I was catching the Gills with Corn! So any thing yellow should work.
