The thursday after the opener I spent a day on cut foot didnt have much luck for walleye except one 23 inch and a 24 inch which went back. We did find the crappies at dusk. All were 12 to 13 inch and the 4 of us left with a total of 6 and probably threw 10 back. Plain hook and bobber and shiner

I was there last weekend and they had a sleeper on Dixon and on Winnie along with spearing houses on each lake as well. Stay on the plowed roads if possible. The guy at Dixon lake resort does a GREAT job maintaining the roads out on both winnie and dixon.
