this is a great time of year on balsam to slowly troll a mister twister white or pink jig on a small black or pink jig head along the weed edges. it gets better as the summer goes on. u can never go wrong with a few nice fish if u know the locations

No we got em mostly in 12-14' fishing 3-7' down under a float. Minnows or Gulp Alive twister tails in Char... chartrue... that bright yellow green color worked well. That is way deeper than we normally work but the same locations...

I fished all last week. Walleye bite was really tough, only managed one 21" fish. Bass were relatively easy to catch in the pads. Prairie lake is a good lake for crappies and walleyes. dark water allows for some good day time action. if...no IF the water level is such that the current isn't to strong, one of my favorite places to fish ios in the gorge. the narrows that was blasted between the upper and lower lakes. watc
