Read More..July 16, 2011Fished Friday Morning from 5am to 8:30am, got off the water just as the sky opened up with the deluge of rain.
Fishing was slow, caught 3 bass between 12" and 16". 1 on a Zara Spook, 1 on a Texas rigged Yum Mighty Bug and 1 on a Yum Dinger.

December 10, 2010Got a few sunfish wed. evening. Also had around 5" of ice. All the sunfish I caught had parasites. Some guys will eat them and some guys won't. :sick:

July 10, 2010Your best bet for smallies is the Mississippi. The population in the Crow is minimal at best. Try below the dam in St. Cloud, upstream from the power plant in Becker or near Montissippi park in Monticello. Good luck.

Read More..June 20, 2009I fished Granite lake found really nice size gills suspended in 20ft of water. Most of the gills were over 8". I only tried fishing walleyes for about 45 minutes, when I found the suspended gills.

July 9, 2010I was on Sarah on Wednesday morning after bass. The lake is very green and a lot of scummy weeds floating on top. We left after about 30 minutes and went to another local lake and my buddy and I caught 60 bass. Glad we switched lakes!

March 7, 2011Perhaps an AM bite? Drove by around 6:30 Sunday morning and there were a few trucks out there. Haven't fished that area in a few years but have done okay in the past... usually late ice. It's been feast or famine out there for me.
Read More..March 7, 2011Fished out there yesterday late afternoon/evening. Lost one 3lb or so northern in the hole to a snapped line and caught one blue gill. Fish were everywhere on the flasher but getting them to bite was another matter. Very tight lips.
